Christian 'Poirot' shares his story at Norwich dinner

TimStevens400Former senior detective Tim Stevens, who once led investigations into murder and other major crimes, shared his “own greatest discovery” – his search for peace and subsequent personal faith in Jesus Christ – at an inspirational dinner evening in Norwich on Friday, May 9.

“My new life has been an amazing journey of discovery,” says ex-Detective Chief Superintendent Tim Stevens who spoke at the May monthly dinner of the Full Gospel Businessmen at the Best Western Hotel, Bowthorpe, Norwich, NR5 9JB.

Tim has a fascinating story which he tells with good humour – though he admits to once being "a faithless workaholic" in his police days as he led investigations into serious crimes, including murder and rape cases,
He shared how the pressures mounted - and how, unexpectedly, he found a living faith through the patient Christian influences of his own family.
"I can bear witness to the power of God to change lives," says Tim who today works with a vibrant Catholic faith charity that spreads the Good News message of Jesus Christ through the Catholic version of the popular Alpha course, conferences, "faith cafes" and film resources also used by Anglican churches.
Tim and his wife, Debbie, have a son and daughter and they live in St Albans.
