Celebrate YouTube video channel is launched

YouTubeCelebrate450Celebrate Norwich and Norfolk has launched a new YouTube video channel to showcase short videos from churches, Christians projects and organisations from across Norfolk.

The videos are the results of a project run earlier this year by Celebrate Norfolk, in partnship with local video producer Adam Jackson, to enable local Christian groups communicate what they are doing in a more effective manner online.

The videos were originally produced to be shown at the Celebrate Norfolk event in June when they were displayed on a giant screen on Millennium Plain in front of the Forum in Norwich city centre.

And now the videos has been gathered together for a YouTube channel showcasing the diversity and depth of the Christian community across Norwich and Norfolk.

Keith Morris, communications officer for Celebrate Norfolk, said: "Our purpose as a charity is to celebrate and showcase everything that is good about the many different expressions of the local Christian community. We aim to help Norwich and Norfolk Christian ministries, churches and organisations positively communicate their activities, events, vision and thereby the Gospel, to as wide an audience as possible. Launching our video project and YouTube channel is a great way of helping to achieve this."

A second opportunity for Norfolk-based churches and Christian groups to take advantage of the Celebrate project to produce a short, high quality video to showcase their work at an affordable cost, will be announcd in the near future. Further details in the meantime from Adam Jackson.
