Ex-lawyer shares faith story at Norwich dinner

MartinDale450Martin Dale , who was a successful lawyer with a blue chip multinational company – until his life radically changed through an unexpected prophetic word in church – wasll be the guest speaker at an inspirational Dinner at the Best Western Brook Hotel, Bowthorpe, on Friday, May 8, at 7 for 7.30pm.

Male and female visitors are welcome to this FGB dinner evening when Martin will tell us more of his remarkable adventure of faith.

Martin recalls how, as a Christian, he sat reluctantly went as a guest to a meeting that would change his life – he was sitting half way back when the speaker called out to Martin – “the man in the blue jumper.”

Years before, Martin, whose dad was then an atheist, had come to faith through the testimony of a student friend at public school. Later, he came across the paperback story of Full Gospel Businessmen – The Happiest People of Earth – and this helped ignite Martin’s mission to share his own testimony of faith.

Today, Martin, who has Swiss nationality, is vicar of five parishes in Ely Diocese, in East Anglia. He and his Swiss wife, Maddy, have three children –“and we enjoy our mini-zoo  . . . with two horses, a sheep, two dogs and two cats as well as ducks and chickens!”
