Norfolk Christian football season to climax at cup finals 

The climax of the Norfolk Christian Football League takes place over the next two weekends (May 6 and 13) as 12 teams compete for silverware in the adult and youth cup finals.

NCFLFinalsProgramme600The youth division finals take place on Saturday May 6 at Brooke village hall, south of Norwich. They kick off with the U10 final at 9.30am between Silver Road and Brooke Adventurers, followed by the U12 final at 10.45am between Lighthouse and undefeated league newcomers Lowestoft United.

At 12 noon, the U14 final sees Lighthouse playing Worstead Wolves and the day is rounded off at 1.15pm with Brooke Adventurers playing Sprowston YEP Bears in the U16 final.

The adult league finals take place on Saturday May 13 at the Football Development Centre’s Field of Dreams at Bowthorpe. The prestigious Bishop Maurice Wood Cup final kicks off at 1pm between the league’s top two teams, Norwich Central Baptist Church and UEA Rovers. In the morning, at 10am Soul Church take on Stalham Baptist in the Wroxham Road Shield final.

All are welcome at any of the finals.

A special cup final programme has been produced by the team at Network Norfolk and contains adult and youth league end-of-season reports, tables and reveals the names of the fair play and top goal scorer awards.

It also contains full details, team sheets and officials for all of the six finals.
