North Norfolk Remembrance Sunday services

Special services and Acts of Remembrance took place in churches and at war memorials across North Norfolk on Sunday remembering those who died in two world wars and more recent conflicts.

Many places also held parades and gatherings at war memorials where services were held, bugles played the last post, Royal British Legion flags were lowered, prayers were read out, wreaths laid, and the two minute silence observed at 11am.

Large numbers joined the Holt parade, which included RBL members, civic leaders, cadets, scouts, guides, and representatives of the emergency services.  At the service in Northrepps, there was a flypast from the nearby Northrepps Airfield.

Acts of remembrance also took place in Cromer, Sheringham, and many other towns and villages across the region.
